This. I kind of wish they'd keep Kaineng (also Shing Jea and Kamadan) in "dusk" mode permanently, the atmosphere is so much more pleasant that way...

Kaineng is always the least populated of the 3 main cities, it should at least be able to be the coolest looking.

I found werid not seen the marquees hanging around.

I actually like more the Nightime Kaineng.
It would be cool to make the districts randomly appear in either of both appearances:
- "Hey, come to District 2! It's nightime here!
- Nah, I like the daytime, I'll stay here at 4.

I really like the holiday decor. So pretty. I'm glad they're keeping it this way. Definitely has more of a city feel at night, as previous posters have said.

However, I wish they'd remove those dragon heads from the bridges and arches. They just seem a little out of place IMO. :P

I actually like it a lot better that way, hope they don't intend on changing it.

We noticed this "Oops." This will be corrected with the next build.

Shing Jea and Kaineng look much better in the night time than in the day. Cmon Regina, work some of that magic of yours. Let's keep the decorations

But if the decorations were up year-round, what would we do to visually mark the special festival events? (Bearing in mind that the current number of artists we have on the Live Team is exactly zero, and our art resources are pulled from departments that work on GW2 full-time.)

I will let them know again how you all feel.

Shing Jea isn't decorated at the moment. Changing that could be sufficient visual alteration for the festivals. Another request here for keeping Kaineng the way it is right now, it looks a lot nicer.

I think Kaineng looks much better during the nighttime. Hopefully they'll keep it like this.

What events happen in Kaineng Center?

Canthan New Year, Birthday celebration, Dragon Festival... those are all centered in Shing Jea Monastery, not Kaineng Center.
